Footprint Floors is very client focused. They come out to review your project only to understand what is wanted. No pressure to purchase from them. Everything is in writing. I found my quote from Footprint Floors to be very competitive and I proceeded with them.
Once the project begins, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is quite exceptional. The workers are friendly and if you are available during the build, they ask your input to make sure the result is exactly what you want.
As in all projects, there are surprises. They addressed the surprises with only one thing in mind: the custer's desire.

I was excited to work with Floorprint Floors based on the other positive reviews I read, but unfortunately did not have the same experience.

In August 2023, I had my staircase, hallway, and three bedrooms wood flooring refinished and an area our hallway repaired. Each day the employee showed up late and left early. On Tuesday, he didn’t arrive at my house until 2pm, which seemed to affect his quality of work. By Friday, it seemed like there was a rush to finish the project.

For the repair in our hallway (that was in our contract), several of the planks of wood were not cut properly and wood fill was used generously to fill the gaps. The result is undesirable.

For the staircase, it seems that the equipment was ran into the baseboard causing deep grooves/scratches on each staircase Also, the circular marks from the sander are still visible on the steps.

On the landing of the staircase, the wrong size and color trim was used . The employee did come back to fix this after I contacted the project manager about this. However, it was concerning that he felt this was acceptable. Also, when the employee came back to fix it, he put stain on trim in our living room, which I’m not sure why as the living room was not a part of the project. Now this area of trim doesn’t match.

Additionally, there were pieces of trim that were not nailed back into our closest that we have since fixed ourselves. The employee dropped his bags of waste off the side of our deck without looking and smashed our plants. Also, the employee damaged our wall after removing a door stop and hitting the door into the wall .

Lastly, after the project began, the employee notified me that there were several areas of wood that should be replaced. I contacted the company to request to add on the additional repairs to our contract. The employee later told me that he spoke with you and that he would repair the areas at no additional cost and would make sure it looked good. I appreciated this, but was willing to pay the additional cost. About a week later, I noticed that there were some pieces that I thought were going to be replaced , but were instead filled with wood fill. These pieces are in very noticeable places and the wood fill has already morphed/came out and looks very bad. I tried to reach out several times via text, telephone, and email and received a response after almost two months. The owner, Adnan's, solution was to send out the same employee, who did a poor job on the initial project, for the repairs for an additional $500.

I tried to give the company an opportunity to remedy these issues before posting this review, but received no response.

I had Footprints install tile for the shower in my master bathroom. Everything went well up until we found that the tile was not properly installed on the shower curb. This resulted in water pooling on top of the shower curb after every shower.

The fix that was proposed by Footprints required the removal and re-installation of the glass shower door that had been installed on the shower curb. However, Footprints communicated to me that they were not willing to cover the costs associated with removal and re-installation of the glass shower door. They subsequently stopped responding to my messages.

I ended up taking time to cut channels in the Schluter trim myself to allow the water to drain.

Footprint installers and the management team were amazing! They were professional and timely installing our floor. They did an excellent job communicating and resolving any issues they encountered. I would highly recommend this company!!

Footprints Floors were experts at transforming our home. This was an extensive project with the entirely main level getting wood flooring. Rooms had carpet removed while other rooms had to be sanded, carpet on stairs was removed and everything was stained one color. Turned out more perfectly than I could have imagined!! Absolute BEST in the industry. They checked on the progress regularly to ensure complete satisfaction. In order to keep cost competitive, we bought and painted moldings, caulked and painted stairs. Pictures show before and after. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! (Rustic Beige stain).

We had signed contract with them 2 years ago and it took them 6 months to start the work which was understandable. They replaced my home times, renovated my bathrooms. It was a big project and when we signed them they promised that the project will be done in phase manner and there will be minimal dust in the house and section which is getting renovated with be isolated. They didn’t do a good job with that and my whole family had to be in a home with floor dust all over. I compromised on that hoping that our home will look good and will be all good after this struggle. Project was done a year ago but had some issues which they promised to fix as they get some time. There was sewer smell coming in my bathroom and they said to keep an eye and will look into this if the smell continue. Also, there were few tiles showing cracks and they said they will fix it in few months as they are busy with other projects. So, we made full payment trusting that they will honor their words. We have been chasing them for last 1 year and owner intermittently responds back with no follow up. Trying to reach corporate office but no response. They have not even given us project completion certificate with final rundown of the project and issues pending. I would think 1000 times before I think of going back to them for any new projects. One of the bathroom glass door they installed is coming apart. Trying to call the owner and he is not responding at all.

This is by far an absolute fantastic experience we had and just completed with the Footprint team (Jason & his son did the tremendous particular and demanding hard work into all the very smallest corners of a house built in 1940) , Billy convinced me fast at his first visit to do more than just the piano room -so we did the entire kitchen, the staircase, the entry way and the 2nd floor corridors!! Our house looks 50 years younger now !! I can’t stress enough the focus to the very details which I was really focused on, as I am coming from a German furniture and Hardwoodfloor family business, and therefore had the highest expectations- but not once did I have to point anything out which wouldn’t have passed my inspection!!
We do love the water based varnish- over the oil based - as it lets the real hardwood be alive !! But of course this is individual taste. And the team will do an outstanding service either way a customer decides .
The follow up is also fantastic- we had Ahmad coming within 18h of completion to conduct a thorough walk thru inspection, asking for anything g still to be completed prior to closing out our project - so very professional (I worked with BMW & RollsRoyce as customer and feel similar treated) .
In summary: we owe the Footprint Team nothing but gratitude and making a lot of recommendations and do advertising to all our neighbors and friends !
