We hired Asher Flooring to refinish a set of stairs and our first floor hardwood floors. The work on the first floor also included cleaning up and refinishing kitchen wood floors that had been previously covered by linoleum, as well as laying new hardwood for a mudroom attached to the kitchen. Every piece of the job was done exceptionally well and a few months later we are still very happy with all of the work done. Along with the quality work, Jeffrey communicated everything along the way and was there to answer all of our questions. Job was done on time and the price was the most reasonable that we came across. To top it off, Jeffrey lent us his stair jig for some other work that we needed to do later on. We could not be happier with the results and would definitely use Asher again for any other work that we need.
Really nice workmanship! Asher was able to remove carpet from my mother's older home (1940) and restore the original hardwood flooring. The results were really what sold the house and the price was quite reasonable.
If that wasn't enough, they were able to patch a section where a vent had been swapped and the hardwood had been replaced with plywood (because it was under carpet so who'd care). The section they replaced looks identical now to the rest of the floor!

They shouldn't have needed to ask for an upfront partial payment, but in a moment of weakness it was agreed to pay half before the job began. What do they do with the credit card information - submit and take the whole amount upfront. I have nothing but a bad feeling when I deal with a person or company that "doesn't do what they say they are going to do". The work itself was acceptable.

I was very happy with my refinished hardwood floor after Asher Flooring completed the job. In addition I had baseboard trim installed in several places and the workmanship is quality. I really appreciated the quick response to both my quote request and getting the work completed. Definitely recommend.
