3 reviewsOur entire experience with Abbott was excellent.
From the selection of carpets and colors, the prices, the sales team, all the way through to the installation was excellent.
We found the staff to be very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
We are very pleased. We will come to Abbott for our next project and will recommend them to our friends! THANK YOU!
Carpeting.
We have used Abbott many times for paint. They also connected us to our all-time favorite painter who was just starting out in business.
This was our first time with carpeting. The selection was broad. They carried on extensive discussion with the carpet factory for a special installation issue. The price was reasonable.
Unlike two chains that we contacted, they stayed with us and kept us informed and advocated for a better (and cheaper) way to do an unusual edge binding. One company even told us to start over with another affiliate because after the negotiation was done, they realized that we were outside their service area.
On installation day, a subcontractor arrived. Like the painter, the two people were skilled, efficient, and took pride in their work. They cleaned up perfectly.
We went yesterday to purchase our carpet. Prior to that we spent 8-9 hundred on paint the previous week. Our first visit was friendly and left us with a good feeling about buying our carpet with them. Our 2nd visit with the carpet sales person on Tuesday of this week. The guy was rude and unfriendly. We were there last week and spent 1/2 hour showing us items when our contractor was with us that deals there all the time. The sales person greeted by saying I never seen you before and told us we are free to look around. He never came and talked with us. I told my husband that I am not spending $10, 000 on an arrogant and rude sales person. We were even going to add window treatments for 15 windows. They didn’t come down to talk with us. Fortunately we thought of Thompson Carpeting. They were so great to work with, gave us samples and wee are recommending to avoid the experience we had at Abott on Grand
