Excellent work. From the beginning to the finish, all done in a professional manner and my new hardwood floors in 4 rooms look fantastic. What surprised me the most was the lack of dust. They contained almost all the dust while sanding, etc. Post job clean up was minimal:) The workers were professional and worked hard. My job was completed exactly as planned and the team at the shop do a careful job of planning out all aspects. Really well done and highly recommend 1 Wood Floors to anyone wanting to update their existing floors to hardwood. Thank you!

I had 550 square feet of wood floors removed and replaced. It took 1woodfloors only 2 days to complete the job. Their customer service is very, very good. They have checked back with me numerous times to make sure that I am satisfied. The installers showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was completed.

You could not ask for any better installer than Kevin. He is a flooring master. He worried about my furniture as much as I did. Kevin also offered some great design ideas that we implemented during the installation. The installation crew members were all very hard working. Jeremy and Ed from the showroom were very helpful in selecting the perfect floors for my house. Wow, just a wonderful experience all around. Ed ,the owner , came to my house the last day to look at the job and see if I had any problems or concerns . He is definitely into customer service and cares about his customers.

They did a great job with our basement stairs. You can't tell the stairs were just finished; they match the rest of the house (and the existing hardwood) perfectly! Project didn't take very long and workers showed up on time and when they said they would. Definitely would use them again if we have another flooring project.

We had to have our wood floor in our kitchen totally replaced due to a faulty refrigerator water line. The bigger problem was that this was a seamless flow with the rest of our wood flooring on our main floor so everything had to be redone. We had also decided to extend the wood floor into our great room which was carpeted at the time. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies, however I was impressed with Ed immediately. Let's just say that this guy knows his stuff! Not only did he tell me the species of wood (oak, which I did know) but also told me the specific type of oak, (red, which I did not know) even with the current finish on it! He offered me so much information without me even asking, which made me confident that he was the one for the job. Not only did he assure us that he could replace the kitchen and great room floor with the same wood, he further assured us that we would not know which floor was new and which was older. So we accepted his offer and the project began. Aaron was the guy who laid the floor and he is awesome and fun to work with! Such an eye for detail! He told us about some unevenness in our floor and we had him fix it. He made an opening in our floor, with a cover, so that we could put an outlet in the floor. It is perfect! He went above and beyond in many other ways. We were sad when his job was done. Then came the sanding and staining. Boy, did I have a lot of anxiety over this! After discussing my color vision, they gave me 3-4 options. After much anxiety and indecisiveness, we finally chose a color and left the house for many days while they did their magic. Jamie was very nice and professional and assured me that we would not be disappointed with the color we chose. When they were ready for us to come and look at the finished job, I was nothing short of amazed! It was perfect. Along with Aaron, Jamie has such an eye for detail and talked to me about a couple of things that he noticed throughout his process, that turned out to be a non-issue for us. Meghan, I didn't forget about you! Meghan sets the bar for what should be the standard for all support staff everywhere. She is peppy, energetic, personable and professional. She knows the business and, I believe, is an anchor in this company. Ed is doing something right with his team: they are all professional yet very personable and very easy to talk to. They are required to go through continuous training to make sure they are up to date on everything flooring related, and do an exceptional job. Their customer service is top notch, which is a reflection of the stand up company and people they are. Thank you all for putting up with me and all my questions and anxiety!

1 Wood Floors recently tore up my old kitchen tiled floor to refinish the hardwood underneath. We didn't know what we'd find when we removed the laminant flooring, but the wood under it was still good! They did an excellent job and were professional, clean and timely. I found the price to be fair too and my floors look fantastic.

Ed is an all star. Ed came out and took on a job another "expert" was unwilling to complete properly due to the difficulty level. He knows the industry standards and the proper way to do things. Brian and Aaron did awesome on the install side on a difficult job and I could not be happier. This was 500 sqft of glue down engineered floor on concrete including some leveling of the slab. When no one would take it on, Ed came out and made it happen. I work in the construction industry for a living and Ed exceeded all my expectations for quality, time, and customer service .
