We had 3 bedrooms, a hallway and family room re-carpeted. We also had our wood floor re-sanded, stained and treated. Both were fantastic. Very impressed with the workmanship. We’ve recently had the privilege of working with Megan and Ed at 1Woodfloors and are thrilled with our new flooring. After much deliberation and discussion my husband and I decided to do a combination of carpet and hardwood throughout our entire house. Thanks to Megan we were kept in the loop every step of the way. Scott was the installer of the hardwood and his work was excellent. Our carpet installer and the carpet are perfect. We wanted to work with a local business and are so glad we found this company. We hired this company to re-do the floors of almost all of our house. It was a big and expensive job, because our house is large, so we were a little nervous: empty the house (movers, plumbers for appliances), re-do the whole floor, move back everything. Our choice couldn't have been better: these are people who would stop at nothing to do the right thing, and to do it to the limits of human perfection. We have been difficult customers, as we changed several details of the job on the go (re-do additional parts of the floor that we originally did not intend to, paint the entire house before moving everything back in, change the floor stain multiple times) causing a lot more organizational and technical difficulties than originally planned. Ed and his people were always there, took care of everything, were always accommodating and very open to give advice, discuss options, outline solutions, down to the tiniest detail. The care they had in dealing with the slightest details was astonishing, and no detail was too small to be taken care of. The result is magnificent, our house is spectacular, the floors so smooth, the light is now so bright and luminous thanks to the new floors. This is one of those rare companies that you actually like to work with, and which gives you the guarantee (not in words, but in results) that they will give you the absolute best service and final product. I recommend them to anyone: go with this people, and you will be happy at the end.

This company is tops in my book. If I could I would give them 20 + stars. They ripped out my old carpet, laid new wood floors, installed new floor moulding, removed all the furniture and replaced it in two bedrooms , cleaned up and took all the debris away in 6.5 hours. The crew were very courteous and professional. Call Ed (the owner) get a quote you won't be disappointed

Last week I had 1 Wood Floors lay pre finished Hickory Hardwood in a dinning room and living room. This company has great customer service which seems to be a lost art these days. From the first I walked into the show room I was treated respectfully, and professionally. Email messages answered promptly.
Prior to this visit I had an independent installer come out to give me an idea on cost for putting in hardwood. He was rude, unhelpful and never did give me an even ball park quote as he was too busy telling me all my samples were "Junk". Needless to say that was the last I saw of him! totally different experience with 1 Wood Floors. They had great suggestions, worked within my price range and did a wonderful job. They stayed til 8 PM to get the job done all in one day. They really work as a team. Even the owner came over to check out a problem with my subflooring which was not securely fastened to the joist. They fixed it without charging me extra for "unforeseen" issues. You don't see that happen too often. The finished product looks fabulous and I would highly recommend this company. Yes you may find someone cheaper but you will have headaches from jobs taking longer than expected, extra expenses that get added on, don't clean up after they are done, blare loud music without your consideration. I've seen it all. Non of this with 1 Wood Floors. Their work ethic and customer service is unbeatable.
I would not hesitate at all to use them again.

FROM START TO FINISH, THEY WERE TERRIFIC.. THERE WERE SOME ISSUES TO BE SOLVED WITH OUR KITCHEN UNDER FLOORING, BUT THEY WERE RESOLVED WITH A MINIMUM OF HASSLE BY JEREMY AND THE INSTALLATION CREW. JOB WELL DONE GUYS -- WE LOVE THE FINISHED JOB. RG McGRUTHER
